THE 2017 OIAAA STATE CONFERENCE

The 2017 OIAAA State Conference for school athletic administrators will be held at the Columbus Hilton-Easton, November 12-14, 2017. This year’s conference will provide professional development and best practice sharing for education-based athletic programming at the Middle and High School levels. Dr. Jim Mahoney (Director Emeritus, Battelle for Kids) will be the Sunday night keynote speaker. Joe Ehrmann and Jody Redman of the new “InsideOut Initiative” will be presentiing a keynote with breakout sessions on Monday. Additionally, Dr. Lee Green, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on school athletic law will be featured on Monday afternoon as well as teaching two Leadership Training Courses on interscholastic athletics law during the conference. His expertise in the areas of Title IX, hazing/bullying, gender-equity and many aspects of athletic impact will be beneficial for experienced and novice athletic administrators. On Tuesday, noted management consultant, Jack Slavinski will address developing a winning school culture.
